I had a transmission rebuilt and very pleased with their work. It took a week to get car back, which I didn't mind one bit, considering they care about the work that they do. I spent 2400 on the rebuilt (tow was free) and they did all the upgrades needed. They guaranteed parts and labor for the next 3 years on my 2004 Honda. I have had my transmission built a couple of times in my 97 7.3 Powerstroke. Last time was by Puyallup Transmission. It ran fine but developed a little problem. Rick owner/manger had me bring it in. Instead of putting a bandaid on the problem he dropped the trany and totally went through it again and even replaced the tork converter sighting that he did not want to take any chances. Rick went through a great deal of time and money to make sure I left his shop with a good running vehicle and a happy customer. These newer transmissions are complicated and things can go wrong.
